How long does furniture take to dry?
Most upholstery is dry within 4 to 6 hours. We extract far more moisture than a rented machine can, which is what keeps drying short, and we groom the fabric so it dries evenly rather than in patches. Steam cleaning, also called hot water extraction, pulls the solution back out of the fabric, while shampooing leaves a soapy residue that attracts dirt, so it dries faster and stays clean longer.
